Apple have responded to our support ticket and resolved the issue with accepting emails.

We are seeing problems with sending emails to all Apple email accounts across all servers.
We have raised this with Apple Support and their SLA for these types of problems is 24 hours.
As soon as we have an update we will update this page.
Problem
When sending emails to anyone with an Apple email address you get a bounce back with the following error:
[HM08] Message rejected due to local policy. Please visit https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204137
